July 18th - Week 39!! !! SO MUCH IS HAPPENING!!

No baby yet.. But! 

Everyone who's been keeping up with us has heard that Nobie's had an offer lined up with Google for a bit.. only thing is we found that a MAJOR baby-bonding paternity benefit was only going to be available if his FIRST DAY on the job was BEFORE the baby was born. 

It was down to the wire. 

But we are SOOOooo EXCITED to announce that we have MADE IT! and now have a NEW NOOGLER in the family!!!! Nobie Redmon!

So happy, proud, and thankful to have you babes!! You're gonna love it here! (already brought his gym bag! and scheduled his on-site haircut!)

July 16th - Week 39 - Dedicated Post to the Babes... Nobie

Who has laughed with me, cried with me, cuddled me, compressed me, supported me, hustled for me, called me mini, fought for me, fought with me, let me win the best pillow, the better side of the bed, woken up with me 3, 4, 5 times a night, watched me rearrange the bed, the living room, the kitchen cabinets 3? 4? 5? times over, consoled my freakouts, googled every last symptom, everything to expect, knows all the numbers to call, all the foods I want, how to calm me down, how to make me laugh, how to make me feel good, and is prepared to yell at dumb nurses and anyone else who might even be the slightest bit interested in telling me I can't do it- or that we don't know what we're doing, or have any opinion for that matter, because we know what we need to! And we're absolutely ready. We're Honey Badgers having a little honey badger and we're gonna kick ass at this parenting thing.
Happy 39.6 weeks Nobie babes.
It's been one hellova count down. :)

July 9th - 38 Weeks and Moms ( soon to be Grandma!) is FINALLY HERE!!

Soooooooo happy to have Mami Veronica here with us!!
But what does this mean??? It means ... it's really happening!!!!

I had been looking forward to the day my mom would arrive and bring with her her wonderfully calm and pleasant company, as well as Colombian goodies, and amazing culinary skills :P! There is no one better than a pregnant lady's own mommy to have as company in these last few days before baby's arrival.

Only thing is... Veronica's arrival for a month long stay in Palo Alto, California makes the sooooon-to-be arrival of baby Olive THAT much more real for me! I mean, mom's not here on vacation! She's her for one reason only and thats to be an enormous amount of help for when the time comes.

Crazy how fast time has flown by! It seems like just yesterday it was December and we were chatting about how mom would be able to travel to stay for a length of the summer time to help out :)


It has been tremendous having her here so far and we have had quite a bit of fun these days, pre-baby!

July 3rd - 37 Weeks - Monterey Bay

A gorgeous day in Monterey Bay turned photoshoot :yesterday as Nobie and I celebrated our 37 week mark! Nobie turned photographer with our nice 4 year old DSLR camera and was able to beautifully capture my absolute joie de vi and pure love of this pregnancy, and these final weeks we are experiencing :)
Love love love you, babe! and thanks for your tremendous hidden talents :) 
We even ran into a gorgeous karmen ghia at the end of the day! (one of Nobie's favorite cars)
